FOREST CITY, IA -- Calvin J. Peterson, 71, of Forest City, died Tuesday (Sept. 19, 1995) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center, Mason City. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church, Forest City, with the Rev. Gary Marzolf officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Petersen Lund Funeral Home, 505 N. Clark St., Forest City, is in charge of the arrangements. Calvin J. Peterson was born Nov. 15, 1923, near Kanawha. Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Peterson, Forest City; one daughter, Nancy Mackin, Hiawatha; three sisters, Edna Eden, Verda Stratton and RuBee Schroeder, all of Britt; and three brothers, Lewis Peterson, Milwaukee, Wis.; Clair Peterson, Britt, and Raymond Lyle Peterson, Hot Springs, Ark. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
