William Joseph Oler, 66, Maple Grove, Minn., beloved father, papa, and brother, was taken from us unexpectedly on Friday, July 28, 2006. He will be forever missed by his daughter, Kristi (Lonnee) Vandenheuval; son, Robb; granddaughters Britton and Afton; loving friend, Jeannie Tonney, sister, Rogene Root and many other friends and relatives.

William Joseph Oler, son of Lyle Joseph and Vada Mary Stilson Oler was born at Hampton, Iowa. He grew up and received his education in Dows, graduating in 1958. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Leon Root. Bill died playing golf, the sport he loved so much. What a way to go! He was a loving, caring man and he didn’t know a stranger. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Burial was held Wednesday August 2 in Apple Valley, Minn.
