Frederick J. Webb, 85, died January 1, 1997. Mr. Webb was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and had lived in the Akron area since 1947. He was a retired chemical engineer from the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. Mr. Webb is survived by his wife, Sylvia M. of Akron; brothers, Harold of Marietta, Ga., and Robert of Kingston, Ontario; many nieces and nephews. There are no local services. Friends may call at the Billow Fairlawn Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m. Interment at Belmond Cemetery, Belmond, Iowa.
