MOLINE, Illinois — Services for Ethel M. Schnell, 80, of Moline, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Family Funeral Services, Reynolds. Burial will be in Reynolds Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Schnell died Sunday, Feb. 14, 1999, at Genesis Medical Center-East Campus, Davenport. She was a homemaker.

Ethel Abbott was born June 2, 1918, in Wall Lake Township, [Wright County] Iowa. She married Henry Schnell in 1937 in Goldfield, Iowa. He died in 1982. Survivors include daughters, Pat Goodnight, Reynolds, DeAnna Guss Jr., Judith Schnell and Carolyn Parker, all of Moline; a son, Duane, Marysville, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; a sister, Grace Dakin, Ames, Iowa; and brothers, Ray and Earl Abbott, both of Webster City, Iowa.
