MESERVEY, IA- Funeral services for Louis D. Gruis, 57, will he Friday at 2 p. in. at the First Reformed Church here. The Rev. Peter J. Yff will officiate. Johnston Funeral Home will be in charge. He died of cancer Wednesday at a Mason City hospital after a short illness. He had lived in the Belmond-Meservey community all his life. Surviving are his wife, Agnes; a son, Lawrence, Sheffield; four brothers and two sisters, Herman, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Fred (Tena) Ruiter, Ventura; John, Thornton; Bernard, Klemme; Mrs. Kermit (Minnie) Stille, Thornton; Clarence, Alexander.
