Eveline Ellen (Meyering) Peck, 88, Webster City, died Saturday May 09, 2009 at Crestview Manor. Visitation is Tuesday, May 12, 2009 5-7 p.m. at the Boman Funeral Home in Webster City. The funeral service is Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Missionary Alliance Church Blairsburg with Pastor Paul Mathis officiating. Burial will be in the Blairsburg Cemetery

She was born October 29, 1920 to Jerry and Henrietta (Jansen) Meyering in Kamrar. She attended school in Hamilton and Wright counties. Eveline was united in marriage to John Peck on March 18, 1938 at Albert Lea, Minn. The couple started farming in the Wall Lake area, and later moved to Williams then to Webster City. They moved to Oelwein and there owned and operated a Ben Franklin Store. John preceded her in death in 1969. Eveline owned and operated Eichman's clothing store for five years from 1969 1974. She attended the Missionary Alliance Church of Blairsburg.

Survivors include her children Shirley (John) Hall of Washington, IL, Leroy (Sherry) Peck of Webster City, Janice (Jim) Myers of Webster City and Lavonne (the late Dennis) Kizzier of Webster City; eight grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
