Rites Thursday For Oley Sharp

Services for Oley A. Sharp, 68, of 417 Des Moines St. who died Tuesday at home after a heart attack will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Hamilton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.

Mr. Sharp, a native of Huxley, lived in Clarion before moving here 33 years ago. He operated a garage at Twelfth and Walker streets and later at 1413 Maple st. He retired in 1947.

He was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church.

Surviving are two sons, Orland O. Sharp and Alden A. Sharp, both of Des Moines, two sisters, Mrs. Rachel Payton of Des Moines and Mrs. Cora Lande of Thompson and five grandchildren.
