RENWICK, IA -- Fred T. "Fritz" Gugisburg, 91, of Kanawha, formerly of Renwick, died Monday (Aug. 26, 1996) at the Kanawha Community Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church, Renwick, with the Rev. Ellen Brantley of the United Presbyterian Church of Goldfield officiating. Burial will be in Vernon Township Cemetery, rural Hardy. Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Garry-Roberts-Murphy-Schaaf Funeral Home, Renwick, with a 7:30 p.m. Masonic service. Fred T. Gugisburg was born March 26, 1905, near Renwick. Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Pearson of Goldfield and Marjory Ann Weed of Renwick; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers and one sister.
