JOICE, IA --Roy S. Hanson, 74, died Saturday (July 22, 1995) at North Iowa Mercy Health Center, Mason City. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Asbury United Methodist Church, Lake Mills, with the Rev. Joan Skyrme officiating. There will be no visitation. Mittelstadt Funeral Home, Lake Mills, is in charge of arrangements. Roy S. Hanson was born Aug. 2, 1920 in Renwick. Survivors include his wife, Jean Hanson of Joice; one son, Roy "Stanley" Hanson II of Tempe, Ariz.; one daughter, Char Hanson of Emmons; one brother, Bob Hanson of Pearce, Ariz. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one son.
