Clarence Roskamp

Clarence was born January 10, 1914, in Kanawha, Iowa, the son of John and Mary (Eekhoff) Roskamp. On October 16, 1936, he was united in marriage Marietta F. Schmidt in Hammond, Indiana. He was President of Roskamp Manufacturing in Waterloo, retiring in 1970. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Clarence is survived by his wife, Marietta of Cedar Falls; son, Robert (MaryLou) Roskamp of Cedar Falls; daughters, Meriel (David) Abrahamson of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, and Florence (Robert) Rayburn of Tacoma, WA; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sisters, Pearl Kortenhoeven of Highland, IN, Connie (Harold) Kuiper of Mount Shasta, CA and Jane Mizaur of Iowa City; and brother, Harold (Mae) Roskamp of Cedar Falls. Clarence died Thursday, December 02, 2004, at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Cromwell Roskamp; and sisters, Tressa Hansberger and Hermina Scorsone.
