December 6, 1868 --- May 8, 1947

Tower City N.D.-- Mrs. Charles Pommerer, 78, resident of Tower City 44 years, died Thursday in a Valley City Hospital. The former Mary Schwartz was married to Mr. Pommerer in Clarion, Iowa, in [December 23] 1890, They moved to a Tower City farm in 1903. She leaves Mr. Pommerer; four sons, Louis, John and Harry of Tower City, and August of Jacobson, Minn., and two daughters, Mrs Charles (Bertha) Ackley, Tacoma, Wash., and Mrs Fred (Mary) Klinger, Fingal, N.D. Funeral services will be in Tower City Lutheran church at Monday, Rev. Henry A. Meske of Valley City officiating. Burial will be at Buffalo, N.D., with Holberg-Peterson funeral home of Valley City in charge.
