Mrs. Louisa Ghering died at her home near Jamison Corners at 2:55 a.m. yesterday, aged 69 years. She was born on October 6, 1866, at Tidioute and on December 16, 1890, was united in marriage with Thomas M. Ghering, who died September 23, 1920. They had three children, George, who survives, Floyd and Lily who died in childhood. She is survived by five grandchildren and a nephew, Frank Lillard of Oklahoma. With the exception of eight years spent in Vincent, Iowa, she spent her entire life in this vicinity. She was one of the organizers of the Critchlow Memorial church at Jamison Corners. The body was prepared for interment at the F. H. Flanders funeral home and will be taken to the late home today, where prayer service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday followed by services in Critchlow Memorial church at 2 p.m.

Services in memory of Mrs. Louisa Ghering were conducted at 2 p.m., yesterday from Critchlow Memorial church at Jamison Corners, preceded by prayer at the home nearby. There was a large attendance of neighbors and friends and many beautiful floral tributes. Rev. John Bargar, pastor of the local Free Methodist church, officiated and three hymns, "When I Shall Fall Asleep," "Rock of Ages" and "No Disappointment In Heaven." were sung by Irene Reese and Naomi Bargar. The interment was made in Jamison Corners cemetery with the following as pall-bearers, Arnold, David and Clyde Warner, John Prather, George Happ and Charles Hancox.
