Grace A. Dippel, 88, died Sunday, May 6, 2007, at a care facility in Santa Paula. Grace was born April 24, 1919, in Cornwall, Ontario, Canada, and came to California in 1946. She was a lifelong homemaker and worked as a secretary and bookkeeper. Grace was a happy, loving and caring person. She was happy when she would go visit old friends, help care for others and spread some cheer. Grace loved being a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Ventura. Grace enjoyed trips in the motor home and cruises, both with her husband. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Paul Dippel [born in Belmond, Iowa]; sister, Dorothy of Canada; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, May 14, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 3290 Loma Vista Road, Ventura. In lieu of flowers, donations in Grace's name may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Ventura, or to a charity of your choice.
