JOHN I STRINGFELLOW

J. I. STRINGFELLOW, son of James S and Eliza A STRINGFELLOW, was born in Jackson County, Ohio on July 23, 1879 and passed away peacefully at his home in Oakdale, Nebraska on July 6, 1936, at the age of fifty six years, eleven months and thirteen days, after an illness of three weeks. He came to Nebraska with his parents when five years of age and lived with them on a farm east of Oakdale. In May 1902 he was married to Ida F. PAYNE of Oakdale. He leaves to mourn him his wife, three sons, Jesse M of Albion, Francis L of Neligh and Glenn I of Oakdale, two daughters, Mrs Gerrit V TYLER of Spalding and Mrs Amos J COFFMAN of Ann Arbor, Michigan, his aged father and his stepmother; three brothers, Charles E of Vancouver, WA, Austin J of Oroville, CA and Leroy W of Rochester, NH, four sisters, Mrs E. O. CUNNINGHAM of Oakdale, Mrs B. F. ROBERTS of Neligh, Mrs C. A. WIEST of Eagle Grove, Iowa and Mrs W. A. ROSE of Ojai, California. He also leaves six grandchildren.
