Clarence Dewitt STRINGFELLOW was born October 12, 1889 at the STRINGFELLOW farm home east of Oakdale and passed away February 9, 1934. He was the son of Mr and Mrs J. S. STRINGFELLOW and grew to manhood here. He was united in married to Emma A KINNAN on June 10, 1913 and to this union two children were born, Marjorie Pauline and Robert RUSSELL. Clare, as he was known, was in ill health for a number of years before his death. Survivors include his wife, two children, his father, step-mother, four sisters, Mrs Jennie CUNNINGHAM of Oakdale, Mrs Ella ROBERTS of Neligh, Mrs Nanette WIEST of Eagle Grove, Iowa and Mrs Edna ROSE of Hollywood, CA, and four brothers, Charles E. of Vancouver, WA, J I of Oakdale, Austin J of Oroville, Ca and Leroy W of Haverhill, MA. His mother, one sister, and one brother preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the United Brethren Church and burial was made in the Oakdale Cemetery.
