Mildred 'Midge' L. Flanagan, 86, of Albert Lea, died Sunday, July 15, 2001, at the Good Samaritan Center in Albert Lea. She was born Jan. 2, 1915, in Iowa to Charles and M. June (Boyer) Parr. She went to school in Kanawha, Iowa until her family moved to Austin. She worked at Hormel Company for seven years. She married Tim J. Flanagan June 16, 1948. The couple lived in Albert Lea. She enjoyed gardening, baking, game shows and watching football, especially the Vikings. Survivors include her son, Steven Flanagan, Albert Lea; a sister, Norma Stenger, Rockland, Maine; a sister-in-law, Inamae Parr, Austin; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tim, in 1994; six brothers; six sisters; and two brothers in infancy. Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2001, at Bonnerup Funeral Service, Albert Lea with the Rev. James W. Haun officiating. Visitation: Friends may visit with family one hour before the service at the funeral home. Interment: Hillcrest Cemetery;
