C. L. Cline, Trucker, Dies; Rites Monday

Clear Lake--Clarence L. Cline, 42, Route 3, Mason City, died Friday night suddenly of heart attack shortly after being admitted to a Mason City hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3:30 p.m. at the Wilcox Funeral Home with Pastor I. A. Lavik officiating. Burial will be in Mamorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Cline was born Jan. 24, 1916 near Goodell to Lloyd E. and Anna Buchanan Cline. He was a World War II veteran. He lived in Clear Lake for six years before moving to Mason City in 1947 where he had owned and operated Cline's Trucking Service since that time. He had been in the trucking business for 24 years. Surviving him are his wife, Pauline; a son, Kenneth, with the U.S. Air Force in North Africa; two daughters, Coleen, Britt and Patricia, at home. Also surviving him are his mother, Mrs. Charles Halfpop, Klemme; three brothers, Roger and Harry, Mason City, and Dale, St. Paul, and three sisters, Mrs. Leonard (Alice) Lowenberg, Mason City; Mrs. Bernard (Darlene) Buckland, Norfolk, Va., and Mrs. Kenneth (Ethel) Harrington, Mason City. His father preceded him in death in 1956.
