Larry L. Lowenberg died Wednesday at Sutter Amador Hospital at the age of 52. A native of Mason City, Iowa, Mr. Lowenberg lived in the Jackson area for the last 21 years. He was employed as a radiological technician for 30 years, working for Amador Hospital for 15 years and most recently was employed at Preston School of Industry. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in Mason City, Iowa and attended the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He is survived by his wife, Ossie Lowenberg of Jackson. He leaves his children, Justus and Bo Lowenberg, both of Jackson; his sisters, Jolene Freimuth of Denver, Colorado, Kay Johnson of Tucson, Arizona; Judy Schuler of Miami, Fla.; and a brother, Mark Lowenberg of Sterling, Va; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alice and Leonard Lowenberg.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson, California. A scholarship fund has been established. Contributions can be sent to Argonaut High School Boys Basketball Club, care of Argonaut High School, 501 Argonaut Lane, Jackson, Calif. 95642.
