Mrs. Korleski Funeral Held at Corwith With Burial at Emmetsburg
CORWITH, IA —Funeral services for Mrs. John M. Korleski, 37, were held Monday afternoon at the Methodist church in charge of the Rev. Karl W. G. Hiller. Burial was made at Emmetsburg. Mrs. Korleski died Saturday at Mason City hospital where she had been taken a few days before. She had been in ill health for several months. As Minnie Louise Phelps, she was born Dec. 14, 1898, near Duncombe, the eighth of a family of 10 children. In 1904 the family removed to Emmetsburg. On March 25, 1918, she was married to John M. Korleski. After a few years at Emmetsburg, they lived at Fort Dodge and Renwick and for three years had lived at Corwith. Mrs. Korleski was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Woman's Christian Temperance union. Surviving are the husband, one son, Laverne, three brothers and two sisters.
