Mrs. Mont Dunning Rites Monday

Mrs. Anna Dunning, 87, a longtime Clarion resident, died Thursday at the Taylor Nursing Home, Eagle Grove. She had not been well for the past four years. Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Monday at the Eyler Funeral home, Clarion, The Rev. J. Curtiss Russell, Presbyterian pastor, officiated and burial was in Evergreen cemetery. Special music was furnished by Mrs. Wayne Ebert. Organist was Mrs. Paul Loomis. Mrs. Dunning is survived by five children, Miss Nettie Dunning and Mrs. Mattie Daggett, both of Clarion, Mrs. Everett Woodley and Mrs. George Duxbury, both of Phoenix, Ariz., and Harold Dunning of Waterloo; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Sorenson of Gruver and Mrs. Charles Notestine of Mount Pleasant.
