KANAWHA, IA -- Minnie Baker, 100, formerly of Britt, died Saturday (Aug. 24,1996) at the Kanawha Community Nursing Home. Graveside services and burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Evergreen Cemetery in Britt with the Rev. Dennis Bailey of the United Methodist Church as officiant. Memorials may be given in her name to the United Methodist Church in Britt. There will be no visitation. Cataldo Funeral Home in Britt is in charge of arrangements.

Minnie Marie Baker was born July 24, 1896 in Blue Earth, Minn. Survivors include four children, Lowell R. Baker of Austin, Minn., Rev. Dale Baker of Pacific Grove, Calif., Gaila Kauffman of Vacaville, Calif., and Dr. Eldon Baker of Sequim, Wash.; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and one sister, Eunice Sommers of Temple, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, an infant granddaughter, her parents, and two sisters.
