ROCK ISLAND — Services for Signa I. Durham, 84, Rock Island, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, Rock Island. Private burial will be in Holmes (Iowa) Cemetery. Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island. Mrs. Durham died Sunday, March 25, 2001, at St. Anthony's Continuing Care Center, Rock Island. She was employed as a nurse's aide.

Signa Streeper was born, May 17, 1916, in Wyoming, Iowa. She married Vergil Durham in 1934 in Rock Island. He died in 1974. Memorials may be made to Pathway Hospice, Rock Island. Survivors include daughters, Virginia Swearengin, Springfield, Mo., Sylvia Lovett, Milan, Ill., Veryle Drummer, Huffman, Texas, and Carol Cline, Newton, Iowa; sons, Sidney, Lake Forest, Calif., Thomas, Brilliant, Ala., Robert, Seymour, Mo., and Carl, Rock Island; 40 grandchildren; 77 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Sibyl Streeper, Rock Island; and a brother, Floyd Streeper, Gulfport, Miss.
