Alexander, Iowa -- Leslie Reed, 64, a longtime resident of Alexander, and at one time the postmaster here, died suddenly at Dows Thursday. He was a rural mail carrier there. He is survived by his wife, Ogretta; one daughter, Mrs. Max (Mildred) Elliot; one son, John, Des Moines; two grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Elsie Dunn, Forest City. Funeral services will be at the Presbyterian Church, Dows, at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, with burial in the Belmond Cemetery.
