EAGLE GROVE—Funeral services for Isaac Knutzon, 70, who died on Sunday at the St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, Minn., will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran Church. Pastor Kenneth R. Torvik will officiate and burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Knutzon, who farmed east of Eagle Grove, is survived by his wife, Jennie; one son, Eugene Knutzon, Fort Dodge.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 5 for Isaac Knutson, 70, in the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran church. Mr. Knutson died Sunday, June 2 in a Rochester, Minnesota hospital. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery and Pastor Kenneth R. Torvik officiated.

From boyhood Mr. Knutson lived on and farmed the family farm near Eagle Grove.

He is survived by his wife, his son Eugene of Fort Dodge and three grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers John and Joseph and one sister Mrs. Francis Sebby. He was a long time member of the Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran church and served on its council.

Isaac Lyman Knutson was born September 24, 1886 at Melvin, Ill., to Cornelius and Maggie Knutson. As a boy he moved with his parents to the farm home near Eagle Grove, where he has lived ever since.

On February 1, 1911 he married Jennie Sebert at Fort Dodge. His wife, his son, Eugene Harold of Fort Dodge, and three grandchildren, Eugene Jr., Karsten Isaac and Anne Louise, survive him. Preceding him in death were his parents, his brothers, John and Joseph, and a sister, Anna, Mrs. Francis Sebby.

He was a long time member of Eagle Grove Evangelical Lutheran church and was sometime a member of its church council.

Funeral service was conducted June 5th by Pastor Kenneth R. Torvik at the church at 2:00 p.m. with Sacquety Chapel in charge. Interment was in Rose Hill cemetery.
