EAGLE GROVE—Funeral services were held here Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Church for Matthies Thielen, 82, who died early Saturday morning at the home of a son, Joseph at Eagle Grove. The Rev. Maurice Mullan officiated and burial was in the Mission Cemetery southeast of Eagle Grove. Mr. Thielen, a retired farmer is survived by eight children, Matt B., Joe and Theodore all of Eagle Grove; Anthony, Clarion; Peter, Webster City; Raymond, California; Mrs. Collettee Dutcher, Bedt, Minn.; and Elizabeth Glow, Springfield, Mo.
