Yvonne Rose Peterson, the daughter of Harry and Beatrice (Jones) Lester, was born March 13, 1941, in Goldfield. She was raised and educated in the area of her birth. Yvonne worked for Western Union in Los Angeles, Boone Valley Egg Plant in Eagle Grove, as a beautician in Goldfield for 12 years, Vistance Resort in Kissemmee, FL for 5 years and EDS in Clarion for 9 ½ years.
Yvonne passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Wright Medical Center in Clarion, at the age of 68 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeff Morrish; brothers, Floyd and Arnold Lester and sisters, Marilyn Lester and Verla Darland. Yvonne is survived by her daughter, Jody Peterson of Eagle Grove; son-in-law, James Bergesen of Eagle Grove; granddaughter, Tara Bergesen of Eagle Grove; grandsons, Devon Keife of Goldfield and Tyler Morrish of Pawnee Rock, KS; brothers, Derwin Lester (Pat) of Grand Meadow, MN, Norman Lester (Elaine) of Goldfield, Leo Lester (Beverly) of Goldfield; sisters, Arlene Terhark (Curtis) of St. Ansgar, Pat McKnight (Butch) of Brandon, SD and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Monday, March 16, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at the Foust Funeral Home, 602 N. Washington, in Goldfield. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Foust Funeral Home, Eagle Grove is in charge of the arrangements. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
