THOR - Cathy DeAnn Page, the daughter of William and Virginia (Cupp) Mintun, was born January 2, 1964, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She graduated with the "Class of 82" from Eagle Grove High School and graduated from the Nursing Program at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. Cathy married Trent Schoon in Minneapolis, MN and later married Kevin Page in Humboldt. She worked as a registered nurse providing dialysis to her patients. Cathy lived in Eagle Grove, Las Vegas, NV, Minneapolis, MN, Stacy, MN, Fort Dodge, Urbandale and Thor. Cathy passed away Thursday, March 5, 2009, at Humboldt Hospital in Humboldt, Iowa at the age of 45 years. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Tyler Schoon; a Godson, Curtis Rasmussen; and grandparents, Louis and Grace Cupp and Oliver and Florence Mintun. Survivors include her parents, William and Virginia Mintun of Thor; two sisters, Christine D. Mathews of Humboldt and Stephanie J. Gould and husband Jay of Humboldt; one brother, Mark W. Mintun and wife Brenda of Perry; nieces and nephews: Travis, Trevor, Tannor, James and Justin Gould of Humboldt, Chase Schoon of Audubon, Megan Schoon of Cedar Rapids, Morgan Schoon of Audubon and Trevor and Steven Schoon of Humboldt, seven aunts and uncles and goddaughter, Katelyn Johnson of Webster City.

Memorial services will be held Monday, March 9, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at Ullensvang Lutheran Church in Thor with Pastor Chris Lang officiating. Visitation is Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove. Burial will be in East Ullensvang Cemetery near Thor. Memorials will be left to the discretion of the family.
