Leslie E. Graham, 85, of Webster City, died Monday, August 30, 2004 at the Mary Greeley Medical Center, Ames. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2004 at the Faith United Methodist Church, Webster City, with the Rev. Brian Carter officiating. Inurnment will be held in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until service time on Friday at the church. Bruce-Graham Funeral Home and Cremation Center is in charge of arrangements.
Les was born May 15, 1919 the son of Samuel Ray and Bessie (Crosby) Graham on the family farm in rural Freedom Township, Hamilton County, IA. He attended and later graduated from Webster City High School. On September 11, 1943 Leslie was united in marriage to Helen Eva Whaley in Clarion, IA. Those thankful for having shared in Les’ life include his wife Helen, one sister Wilma (Harold) Taylor of Webster City, one brother, Gale Graham of Stratford, 16 Nieces and Nephews, three sisters in law, Cleo Graham of Webster City, Maxine Packard of Webster City, and Doris Nelson of Mason City. Mr. Graham was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Ralph and Howard Graham, and two nephews.
