Pastor Palmer B. Wold, 87, former pastor of Badger Lutheran (Badger), Morningside Lutheran (Sioux City), St. John Lutheran (Charles City), St. Olaf Lutheran (Fort Dodge), St. Paul's Lutheran and Lake Lutheran (Renwick), died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 2004, at Mankato, Minn. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Arrangements are under the direction of Mankato Mortuary in Mankato. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; and five children, Eunice, Philip, Miriam, Deborah and James and their families. Memorials are preferred to Waldorf College, Forest City, IA.
