Terri Newman, 30, of Webster City, died Saturday, November 17, 2007 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Susie Moore officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday and prior to the service on Wednesday.
Terri Lea Thompson, daughter of Michael and Carol Ellis Thompson, was born June 19, 1977 at Fort Dodge. She received her education in Webster City schools, graduating in 1995. She attended North Iowa Area Community College at Mason City, for one year. She worked at EDS at Clarion. On July 24, 1999, she married Jerry Neil Newman at Webster City. The couple resided at Webster City and she had worked at Beams for eight years. The couple was later divorced.
Terri is survived by daughter, Avery Newman and son, Brady Newman, both at home; mother, Carol Fisher of Webster City; father, Michael Thompson of Rowan; twin sister, Toni Segar of Webster City; nieces, Sydney and Taylor Segar; step-grandmother, Doris Hubbard Ellis of Webster City; several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Rick Fisher, maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents. She was a member of the Moose Family Center; Iowa Women’s Bowling Association, she had been an avid bowler for 23 years; K-Con, Inc. Bowling Team member; her life was devoted to her children and her family.
