Eagle Grove -- Emma Helgevold, 86, died Friday at the Askvig Nursing Home. Funeral services were said Monday at the Eagle Grove Evangelical Church with burial in the Holmes Cemetery. Kastler Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Helgevold was born in Norway. She was a practical nurse. She had been a patient at the nursing home two and a half years. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors are three sons, Harry, Clarion; Leonard, Eagle Grove; Harold, Chicago; a daughter, Mrs. Edwin Berg, Eagle Grove; two brothers, Peter C. Hovland, Wyoming and Ben Hovland, Denver, Colo.; 10 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
