Gregory Gene Nelson, 55, went home to Jesus when he died suddenly of a heart attack Friday, December 20, 2008. He lived at White Bear Lake, Minn., and was a sportsman, musician, and a 24-year A.A. member. He is survived by his wife, Heidi; children Merrill, Sarah and Tim; sisters, Becky Nelson Shea (husband Tim), Melissa Nelson Karr (husband Mike), Tim Nelson (wife Priscilla) and Jennifer Nelson Zigrang (husband Denis) of Eagle Grove; step-mother Maxine Nelson; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Robert and Irma (Saari) Nelson. Funeral services were held Friday, December 26, at Woodland Hills Church, St. Paul, Minn.
