Stacey Ann Russell, the daughter of David and Joyce (Sheridan) Resh, was born February 11, 1970, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. She was enrolled at Iowa Central Community College in the Criminal Justice Program. Stacey Russell died Friday, December 26, 2008, in Ames, Iowa,at the age of 38 years. She was preceded in death by her grandparents; Robert Sheridan, Elmer and Roxanne Hoag, and her son, Malachi Russell. Survivors include her sons, Nick and Cody Russell of Eagle Grove; father, David Resh of Clarion; mother, Joyce Resh of Eagle Grove; and siblings: David Resh, Jr., Brenda Konecne and husband, Mike, Dan Resh and wife, Shannon, Dennis Resh and wife, Angie, Doug Resh and Shane Hilbert, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 31, at 10:30 a.m. at Foust Funeral Home in Eagle Grove with Pastor Paul Butterfield officiating. Burial was held in Rose Hill Cemetery in Eagle Grove. Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family. Foust Funeral Home of Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
