Bruce Rutherford, 46, passed away suddenly at his home in Oklahoma, on December 11, 2007. Bruce was born March 12, 1961, in Wright County, Iowa, to Lloyd Rutherford and Joan (Hollinger) Thome Snow. He married Lisa Edgell and they had many happy years together before her death on July 30, 2006. Bruce served his country in the United States Air Force for twenty years before his retirement in 2002. He then began his career in Civil Service at the Altus Air Force Base where he was currently employed. He is survived by twin sons, Andrew and Alec Rutherford, of the home in Altus; his parents, Lloyd Rutherford of Maplewood, Minnesota, and Joan Thome Snow of Yuma, Arizona; one brother, Robert Wood of Little Canada, Minnesota; one sister, Julie Morrison and husband Arthur of Quincy, Michigan; two nieces, Amanda and Kelsey Wood, both of Angola, Indiana; two nephews, Arthur Carl Morrison and John William Morrison, both of Quincy, Michigan; mother-in-law, Sandy and Willie Shaw of Altus; and seven step-brothers and step-sisters.

Funeral Services for Bruce Rutherford will be 2:00 pm Saturday, Dec 15, at Lowell-Tims Funeral Chapel under the directions of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
