Walter Fritz Butenhoff was born in Wright County, Iowa, on July 6, 1906 and passed away at the Spooner Hospital on October 5, at the age of 65 years. He had been a resident of Earl since 1916 and was engaged in farming. He is survived by two brothers, Arthur, of Earl, and Gustav, of Shell Lake; also one sister, Mrs. Martha Thomas of Earl, plus many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:30 pm at the Dahl Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Earl Cemetery.
