HARDY - Joanne E. Sandven, 73, of Hardy, passed away Nov. 6, 2007 at Trinity Regional Medical Center in Fort Dodge. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Faith United Methodist Church in Humboldt. Interment will be in North Lawn Cemetery, Fort Dodge. Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home in Humboldt. Joanne is survived by her husband, Gilbert “Gib” Sandven of Hardy; sons, Douglas (Leisa) Sandven of Humboldt, and Steven (Charlene) Sandven of Humboldt; grandchildren, Craig (Cindy), Tyler, Brandy, Brittany, Chelsea, and Skyler Sandven; great-grandchildren, Alexis and Owen Mayall, and Taylor and Braden Sandven; sister, Patricia (Don) Bardonner of Brookfield, Wis.; sisters-in-law, Blythe Edge of Humboldt and Elaine Edge of Hot Springs Village, Ark.; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Margaret (Zion) Edge, and brothers, Edwin and Norman Edge.
