SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - Mildred Irene Camp, 90, of Scottsdale, Ariz., formerly of Iowa Falls, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, at Scottsdale. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, Sept. 4, at 1 p.m. at a graveside service at the Clemons Cemetery, Clemons. Mildred was born Aug. 12, 1914, in Iowa Falls to Ensign and Ellen Christenson. She was a graduate of Popejoy High School and attended Fort Dodge Community College. In 1937, Mildred was united in marriage to Roland "Rollie" Camp. They lived in the Iowa Falls, Clemons and Fort Dodge areas, and for the past seven years, made her home with her daughter and great-grandchildren in Scottsdale. Mildred enjoyed china painting and gardening. She was a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Clemons; the American Legion Auxiliary in Fort Dodge; past president of the Ladies Aid of Clemons Congregational Church in Clemons; and the Cancer Society in Fort Dodge. Mildred had been employed by Charlie Gentle at the Cut-Rate Grocery Story in Iowa Falls. Survivors include one daughter, Patty Kennedy of Scottsdale; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and one sister, Margie Iverson Harms.
