Daisey Alyce Huggins, daughter of Russell Whitecotton, Sr. and Lora Ann Brown Whitecotton, was born April 7, 1947 in Goldfield, Iowa and died February 15, 2007 at Dallas County Hospital in Perry at the age of 59 years, 10 months and 8 days. Daisey moved to the Granger area as a young girl and later graduated from Woodward High School in Woodward. On July 11, 1974 she married Robert Huggins and they made their home in Perry. Daisey worked as a supervisor at Woodward State Hospital and Schools and also had small craft and gift shop in Perry. She loved flamingos, dogs and cats, and craftwork. She and Bob also loved buying and selling antiques. Daisey is survived by her husband, Robert; sister, Mary Ann Pohl (Glen, Sr.) of Perry; nieces, Donna Pohl of Perry, and Debbie Giem (Mitch) of California; nephew, Glenn Pohl, Jr. (Melissa) of Perry; other relatives and friends.
