Mrs. Charles (Edith) Anderson of Seattle, WA, 22 year-old daughter of Col. and Mrs. Richard Banning of Columbus, Ohio, and granddaughter of R.G. Banning, came to a tragic death last weekend as a result of a mountain excursion. She, her husband and a friend, who was an experienced mountain climber, were climbing Mt. Rainier to study and photograph ice caves. They were caught in an unexpected blizzard. Mrs. Anderson died just a few hours after rescue.
