Funeral services were held January 7 at Anamosa for Cecil L. Carstens, 82.

Cecil Carstens, 82, of 1715 Edgewood Rd. NW, died Saturday in Living Center West. Services: 1:30 p.m. today, Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, followed by Masonic services. Burial: Riverside Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Faye; and two daughters, Cathy Troll of Cedar Rapids and Dixie Friel of Sinking Springs, Pa. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Mark and Leeann Troll. Mr. Carstens was a former resident of Anamosa and was employed by Iowa Electric for 48 years.
