Alfred R. Olson of Hillsboro, a retired real estate broker, died of pneumonia Monday in a Hillsboro hospital. He was 90. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Portland Memorial Funeral Home. Private entombment will be in Portland Memorial Mausoleum.

Mr. Olson was born Oct. 21, 1900, in Thor, Iowa. He moved to Oregon with his family in 1910 and graduated from Silverton High School in 1919. A realtor, he owned and operated Olson Realty in Rockaway and in Tillamook for a number of years. He moved to Milwaukie in 1963, and had lived in Hillsboro for the past several months. Survivors include his son, Alan R. of Hillsboro; daughter, Carol Dart of Banks; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
