Kelly A. Beenen, age 55, of North Oaks Loving husband, proud father, humble leader, trusted friend and businessman, died suddenly on October 30, 2008. Born in Belmond, Iowa, he was raised in Iowa and received his B.A. degree in Finance at the University of Northern Iowa. He worked at Wells Fargo for 21 years and was Senior Vice President and National Sales Manager for Wells Fargo Shareowner Services. Kelly was an active volunteer and leader with several organizations, including YMCA Camp du Nord, where he was a past board chair. Most importantly, Kelly was devoted to his family and cherished time spent with his wife and sons. We will remember his beaming smile, his ever-present sense of humor and the genuine interest he took in each of our lives. Kelly is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kathy; sons, Matt and Joe; mother, Garnet; brother, Rick (Sharon); identical twin brother, Kurt (Krista); and numerous extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll. Memorial Service on Thursday, November 6, at 2 PM at THE HOUSE OF HOPE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 797 Summit Ave., St. Paul. Visitation on Wednesday, November 5, from 4-8 pm at HOLCOMB-HENRY-BOOM FUNERAL HOME, 515 Hwy 96 at Mackubin, Shoreview. Memorials preferred to the Kelly Beenen Endowment Fund at YMCA Camp du Nord, 2125 E Hennepin Ave., Minneapolis, MN 55413.
