MAUDE E. OLSEN, 91, of Morrison died July 30, 1997. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at United Methodist Church, Vincent, Iowa. Mrs. Olsen was born in Gilmore City, Iowa, on March 23, 1906. She married James B. Olsen, 1938. She worked for the postmaster in Virginia for 33 years and was a member of the National League of Postmasters. Survivors include daughter Harriet A. Ohlerking of Golden; sons C. George Carver Jr. of California, Richard W. Carver of Washington, Donald L. Carver and Jerry, both of Iowa, James of Illinois, Stan of Aurora; 36 grandchildren; 57 great-great-grandchildren.
