Betty Lou Johnson, 74, of Kenneth City, died Sunday (March 16, 2003) at Bayfront Medical Center, St. Petersburg. Born in Webster City, Iowa, she came here in 1986 from Des Moines, Iowa. She was a former schoolteacher and a member of the Harmonettes in Des Moines. Survivors include her husband, Don; a son, David A. Johnson, Eagan, Minn.; a daughter, Deanne McKenney, Murrieta, Calif.; a sister, Darlene Milton, Spencer, Iowa; three brothers, Harold Schweppe, Ogden, Utah, Ruhl Schweppe, Pahrump, Nev., and Jerry Schweppe, Vincent, Iowa; two sisters, Janice Ringstad, Jewell, Iowa, and Linda Marker, Woolstock, Iowa; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
