Madge L. Edwards, Age 86, of Culpeper, VA, died Sunday, June 12, 2005, at the Culpeper Baptist Retirement Community. She was born June 11, 1919 in Vincent, Iowa to the late Asher Osborne and Madge Nash Osborne. Mrs. Edwards was a member of Culpeper Baptist Church. She volunteered as a Sunday School Teacher at numerous churches including Clarendon Baptist Church in Arlington, VA, Providence Baptist Church in McLean, VA and Kings Grant Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, VA. She enjoyed cooking and sewing and spending time with her family and friends. Mrs. Edwards is survived by a daughter, Florence Edwards of Culpeper; one grandchild, Darlene Felton and her husband, Marc of Amissville, VA; two great grandchildren, Ashleigh Lynn Stancliff of Amissville and Michelle Andrea Stancliff of Bealeton, VA; one sister, Ruth Howard of Santa Paula, CA, and a host of nieces, nephews and additional family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Lee Edwards, and a son, Calvin Lee Edwards. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at FOUND AND SONS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper, where a funeral service will be held Friday, June 17, at 11 a.m., with Dr. Ted Fuson officiating. Interment will follow an National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA. FOUND AND SONS FUNERAL CHAPEL of Culpeper is handling the arrangements.
