Beulah Elaine Eden, 84, of Emerald Isle, NC formerly of Alexander IA and Fort Dade, FL died Friday, July 6, 2007, at home. She was born to the late Emil and Eva Chase Jenson. Beulah graduated from Thornton High School in Thornton, IA. She married Leslie Hopkey in 1946. They had one daughter, Sally, in 1947. Beulah worked for the First State Bank in Thornton and retired after 27 years of service. She married Jelto Eden in 1971. Mrs. Eden was an avid golfer and bridge player. She lived between Alexander, IA and Fort Dade Fl up until last year when she moved to Emerald Isle to live with her daughter. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

SERVICES

A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, July, 10, 2007 at Brooks Funeral Home with the pastor of the Crosspointe Community Church, the Rev. Rich Denning presiding.

Daughter - Sally Boyd and husband Bruce of Emerald Isle

Stepdaughters - Karole and husband Jim of TX; Diane and husband Bob of IA;

Grandsons - Eric and wife Susan of Morehead City; Travis and wife Alison of Emerald Isle; Sean of Emerald Isle

Step Grandchildren - Greg, Rich, Scott, Marcy of IA and Laura of TX

Great-Grandchildren - Hali, Summer, Travis, Jr., Noelle, Bennah all of Emerald Isle

5 Step Great-Grandchildren

Brother - Gorden Jensen and wife Mary Ellen of Dubuque, IA

Mrs. Eden is preceded in death by her hubands.
