Mrs. Jeanette L. Clemens of Newark, Delaware died Monday, May 30, 2005, in Alexandria, Virginia.

Mrs. Clemens was born in Rowan, Iowa, daughter of the late William Moellering and Louisa Schueler Moellering. As a young woman, she was employed as an executive secretary for a financial institution in Chicago, IL. Clemens, was the president of the Williamson Free School of Mechanical Trades in Media, PA for 21 years. As the gracious hostess of school functions and a visible and well-loved figure on campus, Mrs. Clemens was a true asset to her husband's administration. In her leisure hours and in her later years, she greatly enjoyed gardening, reading and playing the piano.

Mr. Clemens died in 1984. She is survived by her 4 children, Richard G. Clemens of Wilmette, IL, Sandra J. Rice of Newark, DE and James R. Clemens, Jr. of Santa Fe, NM; 4 grandchildren, Shelley Coolidge, Kathy Clemens, Elizabeth Clemens and Jamie Clemens; and 3 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, June 4, 2005, at the SPICER-MULLIKIN FUNERAL HOME, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to The First Church of Christ, Scientist, 48 W. Park Place, Newark, DE 19711
