Mollie Frances Stewart, 90, died on Monday, Jan. 25, 1999. She was born Dec. 15, 1908, the daughter of William and Maggie Wear. At an early age the family moved her to Iowa, where she graduated from Popejoy High School. She married Kemett Stewart in Clarion, Iowa. They farmed in Iowa until the 1940s when they moved to River Falls. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kemett; her sons: Daryl and Maurice; nine brothers and one sister. Survivors include her children: Ronald Stewart of Roberts, Phil Stewart of Boyceville, Marlin Stewart of Shoreview, Minn., and Rosalie Harper of Alamo, Texas; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Her remains were cremated. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 29, at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 110 N. Third St.
