BAXTER, Minnesota - Dorothy Waller, 76, Baxter, died Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. She was born Jan. 2, 1922, in St. Paul to Melvin Byron and Elvina (Graf) Carlson. She was a resident of Baxter for the past three years. She had also lived at Peavey Lake near Hillman, Sleepy Eye and Dows, Iowa. She married L. Clair Waller on Sept. 29, 1940, in St. Paul. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hillman and Bethany Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Melvin A. Waller, Maple Grove, and Larry C. Waller, Mounds View; a daughter, Carmen Moll, Lino Lakes; a sister, Beverly Johnson, Brainerd; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hillman with Pastor Lynn Broughton officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Lakeview Community Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and after noon Monday at the church.
