Anna Conners, age 94, most recently a resident of the Belmond Health Care Center, Belmond, Iowa, formerly a longtime resident of Klemme, Iowa died Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at the Belmond Health Care Center. Funeral services were held Friday, April 15, at the Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ, Klemme. The Rev. Donna Buckman officiated. Burial was in the Ell Township Cemetery, Klemme.

Anna Trampel was born July 14, 1910 to Peter and Jennie (Schaa) Trampel of Kamrar, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Arthur Conners on Dec. 4, 1943 at the Immanuel Reformed Church, Klemme. Following their marriage they made their home in the Klemme area. For many years Anna had done housekeeping for residents throughout the area including Britt, Garner, and Clear Lake. She was known for her hardworking and meticulous attention to her work.

Left to cherish the memory are her brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and his wife, Ruth, Trampel of Klemme; sister-in-law, Eula Trampel of Belmond, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Anna was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, Melbourne; brothers, John and Harmon Trampel; sister, Wemkie Cavitt; and her husband, Arthur Conners. Andrews Funeral Home, Klemme, was in charge of arrangements.
